Green Layers

The Nichols Arboretum on the campus of the University of Michigan is a great resource. Each walk is a treasure trove of textures, patterns and colors. The Japanese practice of forest bathing, “shirin-yoku” (森林浴) is all about immersing yourself in nature. And while the arboretum is not a large forest, a short spritz does make a big difference to help you forget the potholes and tailgaters out on Michigan’s roadways!
